Burlington Landlord Program
If you are a landlord with a minimum of four properties in the Burlington area, you can generate additional income from your rental units by simply installing Burlington Telecom services at each location.
Designed specifically with landlords and tenants in mind, BT’s Landlord Program can add value to rental units simply by adding Burlington Telecom’s fiber optic services. Future tenants will also have a hassle free option for Internet, television and telephone service as they will not have to call to order service, wait for an installation or pay a second bill.
How It Works
Burlington Telecom works with property owners to get services installed at any of their rental locations (a minimum of 4 units is necessary to qualify for the program) and then offers service to the landlord at a reduced rate. The landlord can then offer Burlington Telecom service to their tenants at the regular rate charged to residential customers. This allows property owners to profit from offering Burlington Telecom service every month. Additionally, landlords are only charged for nine months of service for each unit, so three of the 12 months are provided at no charge to the property owner.
Tenants can easily upgrade beyond the provided service at any time by simply contacting Burlington Telecom and setting up an account. Tenants pay the difference in cost of the new services compared to what they currently have. The landlord is only responsible for the services that are listed in the contract and is not responsible for payment of any additional services that the tenant has set up.
